Q: I ama blind man living in a house, and every night a jinn comes to this house (they visit me), and I am afraid of them. I currently have a mushaf, and when I place it on my face, they leave me alone.Some people said: It is not permissible to place the mushaf on your face. I hope you will inform me?
A: You should increase your remembrance of Allah when sleeping, and recite (Ayat al-Kursi) and Surah (al-Ikhlas) and (the two Mu'awwidhat), and seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created (three times) in the morning and evening, and say: (In the name of Allah, with whom nothing in the earth or in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing (three times) in the morning and evening), and you will be safe, if Allah wills, from the evil of jinn and others. It is not permissible for you to use the Mushaf in this matter in the manner mentioned; because of the
disrespect for the Book of Allah and pleasing the devils by doing so... And we ask Allah to keep you safe and to protect us all from the devils. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
