Fatwa No. ( 6917 ):
Q: We are a group of Muslim migrant workers in France who have agreed to fear Allah and follow the Sunnah of His beloved Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). By the will of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), we were able to obtain a hall where we perform the five daily prayers. We have chosen an imam for us, may Allah help him bear this heavy burden placed upon his shoulders. In addition to the five daily prayers, there are occasional lessons in preaching and guidance. Our current problem is that this group has begun to disintegrate somewhat, and the reason for this is that
After finishing the prayer, immediately after the taslim, each of us glorifies Allah 33 times, praises Allah 33 times, and magnifies Allah likewise. This is in accordance with and following the hadith of the master of creation and the beloved of creation, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), as narrated by Abu Hurayrah in the noble hadith: and so on. This formulation found in the noble hadith is recited by every worshipper in secret, and afterwards we recite in congregation the opening of the Book and the Ibrahimiyyah prayers, concluding with "Glory to your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, above what they describe, and peace upon the messengers, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds." Then some brothers among us stood up and said: We disavow you, for by reciting this, you have become a group that has innovated a religious innovation, and its sin and the sin of whoever acts upon it will remain upon you until the Day of Judgment. Give us a ruling on our matter: Is reciting the opening of the Book, the Ibrahimiyyah prayers, and the last verses of al-Saffat (180, 181, 182) in congregation a good recommended practice or an innovation that we have introduced? And this is not all; these brothers have stopped attending the prayer with us, saying: We will not pray with you until you abandon this innovation.
We need a fatwa to settle the current dispute between these brothers. If we are on the wrong path, we will certainly abandon this and seek Allah's forgiveness for what has passed. If we are on the right path, we ask Allah to inspire these brothers with guidance. Is it not enough that Muslims have disputes that have torn apart their unity and scattered their gathering?
A: What you mentioned about reciting together al-Fatihah, the Ibrahimiyyah prayers, and concluding with "Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, above what they describe, and peace upon the messengers, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds" is not permissible to do; rather, it is a religious innovation because it was not transmitted from the Chosen One (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the brothers who left praying with you because of the aforementioned religious innovation, it was not befitting for them to do so; rather, it is obligatory for them to pray with you to fulfill the obligation, while advising with what is good. May Allah improve the condition of everyone. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

The poor came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: The people of wealth have taken the high ranks and the abiding pleasure. They pray as we pray and fast as we fast, but they have the advantage of wealth with which they perform Hajj, 'Umrah, and give charity. He said: Shall I inform you of a matter by which, if you take it, you will catch up with those who were before you, and no one after you will catch up with you, and you will be the best of those among whom you are, except one who does the same? You glorify, praise, and magnify Allah after every prayer thirty-three times...
We need a fatwa to settle the current dispute between these brothers.
