Leaving the Second Friday Sermon, the Ascension of 'Isa (peace be upon him), and His Descent at the End of Time

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 2741 ):
Q1: I seek a ruling regarding the imam in the congregational mosque who forgets the second sermon on Friday, and none of the congregation reminds him, and he does not mention it himself until they have dispersed from the mosque. In the second Friday, he mentioned it. What should this imam do? Or what is required of him? 2 - Regarding two hadiths about the descent of our master 'Isa, peace and blessings be upon him and upon our Prophet, the best of prayers and peace, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
How will a nation perish when I am in its beginning and 'Isa is in its end
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 26:174
, and likewise Ka'b al-Ahbar says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in one day while I was with 'A'ishah and he whispered to me, so I cried, then he whispered to me again and I laughed. 'A'ishah asked me about it, and I said: I was hasty, shall I tell you the secret of the Messenger of Allah? So she left me. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, 'A'ishah asked me, and I said: Yes, he whispered to me and said: Jibril used to review the Qur'an with me once every year, and he has reviewed it with me twice, and there is no prophet except that he lived half the lifespan of the one before him, and 'Isa, my brother, lived one hundred and twenty years, and I am sixty, and I think I will die in this yearكيف تهلك أمة أنا في أولها وعيسى في آخرها
? And from 'Ammarah ibn Ghaziyyah from Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As, that Fatimah bint Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to him that Fatimah bint the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) during the illness in which he passed away and whispered something to her, so she cried, then he called her and whispered something to her, so she laughed. We asked her about it, and she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whispered to me that he would pass away in the illness in which he died, so I cried, then he whispered to me and informed me that I would be the first of his family to follow him, so I laughedدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يومًا وأنا عند عائشة وناجاني فبكيت ثم ناجاني فضحكت فسألتني عائشة عن ذلك، فقلت: لقد عجلت، أخبرك بسر رسول الله؟
Please rule for us, O noble Shaykh, on this problematic hadith, clarifying it for us.
Is every one of these a hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and will our master 'Isa descend as the Ahmadis claim, or not?

A: First: The majority of scholars hold that the sermon is a condition for the validity of the Friday prayer; based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
So hasten to the remembrance of Allah
They said: The intended meaning of "remembrance" here is the sermon, so it is obligatory due to the command to hasten to it, and because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) consistently performed it in conjunction with the Friday prayer. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
offer your prayers in the way you saw me offering my prayersصلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي
Sahih al-Bukhari 6008
Therefore, it is obligatory to associate it with the Friday prayer, just as he (peace and blessings be upon him) associated it with it. A group said: The sermon is not a condition for the validity of the Friday prayer, among them al-Hasan and Ibn al-Majishun ; because it is not the "remembrance" intended in the verse, and it is not a prayer, so it was not commanded in the verse or in the hadith. Rather, it was from the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whom he persisted in, so it is a recommended practice (sunnah) that does not invalidate the Friday prayer if left. Among those who said the sermon is obligatory, some did not make the second sermon obligatory; like Malik and al-Awza'i and Ishaq and Abu Thawr and Ibn al-Mundhir and the followers of the opinion (Ahl al-Ra'y). One sermon suffices in their view. Since there is disagreement on the original issue of the sermon, and the disagreement on the second sermon is strong, your Friday prayer with the forgetting of the second sermon is valid, if Allah wills, in the opinion of many of the leading jurists. However, it is obligatory for the one praying behind the imam to remind the preacher immediately if he leaves out the second sermon, before the iqamah (second call) for the prayer; because one who knows the sunnah does not leave it except mostly out of forgetfulness.
Second: It is established from 'Urwah from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) during the illness in which he passed away, and he whispered something to her, so she wept. Then he called her and whispered something to her, so she laughed. We asked her about that, and she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whispered to me that he would pass away in the illness in which he died, so I wept. Then he whispered to me and informed me that I would be the first of his family to follow him, so I laughed.
Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and it is established from Masruq from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said:
Fatimah came walking, and her gait was like the gait of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Welcome, my daughter." Then he seated her on his right or left side. Then he whispered a word to her, so she wept. I said to her, "Why are you weeping?" Then he whispered a word to her, so she laughed. I said, "I have never seen joy closer to sorrow." I asked her what he had said to her, and she said, "I would not disclose the secret of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away." So I asked her after he passed away, and she said, "He whispered to me: 'Jibril used to review the Qur'an with me once every year, but this year he reviewed it with me twice, and I do not think it is anything but that my time has come, and you are the first of my household to follow me.'" So I wept. He said, "Are you not pleased that you will be the lady of the women of Paradise, or the women of the believers?" So she laughed because of that.
. Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from 'A'ishah bint Talhah from 'A'ishah , the Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), she said:
I have not seen anyone more similar to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in their composure and guidance in their standing and sitting than Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She said: "Whenever she entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would stand up to her, kiss her, and seat her in his place. And whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered upon her, she would stand up from her place, kiss him, and seat him in her place." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, Fatimah entered and bent over him, kissed him, then raised her head and wept. Then she bent over him again and raised her head and laughed. I said, "I used to think that she was the most intelligent of our women, but she is just one of the women." When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, I said to her, "What made you do that when you bent over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), raised your head and wept, then bent over him again, raised your head and laughed?" She said, "Indeed, when I bent over him, he told me that he was dying from this illness, so I wept. Then he told me that I would be the first of his household to follow him, and that is when I laughed."
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and others, and there are other hadiths regarding the illness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated from various paths from 'A'ishah and others of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). As for the hadith you mentioned from 'Ammarah ibn Ghaziyyah from Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As, from his mother Fatimah bint Husayn ibn 'Ali ,
from Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her), it is not authentic; because the narration of Fatimah bint Husayn from her grandmother Fatimah al-Zahra is mursal (missing the Companion link), and because Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr is disputed regarding his reliability and weakness. And al-Haythami mentioned in Majma' al-Zawa'id from 'A'ishah that she used to say:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Fatimah during the illness in which he died: "Jibril (peace be upon him) used to review the Qur'an with me once every year, and this year he reviewed it with me twice. He informed me that he was told that no prophet lived except half the lifespan of the one before him. He informed me that 'Isa ibn Maryam lived one hundred and twenty years, and I do not see myself but that I am going to depart at the age of sixty." That made me weep...
the hadith, then he said al-Haythami : It was narrated by al-Tabarani with a weak chain, and al-Bazzar narrated part of it also, and there is weakness in its narrators. With this, the problem is resolved; because the addition regarding the age of 'Isa and the age of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon them, is rejected. Third: 'Isa ibn Maryam was raised to the sky alive with his body and soul, and he will descend at the end of time and will be a just ruler, and he will break the cross, and kill the pig... etc., as indicated by the hadiths, but he has not descended yet, and what the Qadiani Ahmadis claim about 'Isa (peace be upon him)
is a lie and slander. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
