A2: Knowing the weather, or predicting the blowing of winds or storms, or the formation of clouds or the falling of rain in a certain area, is based on knowledge of the cosmic laws of Allah. A person who has experience with these laws through scientific theories or general common experiences may have a guess rather than certain knowledge; he predicts this and reports it based on a guess rather than knowledge, sometimes hitting the mark and sometimes missing. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
