Treating sorcery with permissible ruqyah and supplications

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 4228 ):
Q: If it becomes clear to us that a person has cast a spell on another person, how do we nullify its effect according to the Shari'ah?
A: Practicing sorcery is forbidden, indeed it is major shirk, so it is not permissible to use sorcery to nullify sorcery. However, the one afflicted
with sorcery is treated with permissible ruqyah and supplications that are found in the Qur'an and established in the Sunnah. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
