The impermissibility of removing sorcery with sorcery of the same kind

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on a man or woman going to have sorcery removed, and is Surat al-Baqarah sufficient? What are the supplications for that?

Answer:
Answer: It is not permissible to remove sorcery with sorcery of the same kind, nor is it permissible to go to sorcerers to have the sorcery removed. Rather, the removal of sorcery is done through the lawful ruqyah (healing by Qur'anic recitation) from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and through lawful supplications. It is also done with proven medicines that are used to treat sorcery. There is nothing wrong with using proven, permissible medicines along with the lawful ruqyah.
