Ruling on removing sorcery with sorcery

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q144: The questioner asks: Is it permissible to remove sorcery with sorcery, and what is your advice for the woman who has been afflicted by this and harmed by it? What should she do?
A144: Removing sorcery with sorcery is not permissible; because sorcery is disbelief, whether practicing it or teaching it, and it is forbidden. It is not permissible to seek treatment with what is forbidden. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah has sent down both the disease and the cure, and He has appointed a cure for every disease, so treat yourselves medically, but use nothing unlawful.إن الله أنزل الداء والدواء، وجعل لكل داء دواء، فتداووا، ولا تداووا بحرام
Sunan Abi Dawud 3874Da'if (Al-Albani)
. Therefore, it is not permissible to seek treatment with sorcery. There are treatments and medicines that suffice in place of sorcery and what is forbidden, praise be to Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
For every disease that Allah has sent down, He has sent down a cure, and whoever knows it knows it, and whoever does not know it does not know itمما أنزل الله من داء، إلاَّ أنزل له دواءً، علمه من علمه، وجهله من جهله
So one should seek treatment with what is permissible, especially with the remembrance of Allah, with the daily recitations, and with the supplications that have been transmitted. This is how sorcery is treated.
