A8: The presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or anyone else who has passed on to their Lord is among the unseen matters that are not known except through the specification of the Shari'ah and its explanation to His servants. Therefore, no one should delve into this matter except with a textual proof from the Shari'ah. It has not been established in any verse or hadith that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was present at the death of anyone, either in person or in image. Rather, people will gather with him on the Day of Resurrection and ask him to intercede for them with their Lord so that He will move them from the standing place, among other things that will happen to him (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection, which are established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) as being among his unique attributes. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
