The first question of Fatwa No. ( 8466 ):

Q1: We believe that Allah the Exalted will admit to Paradise those who believe in Him from the two communities
of mankind and jinn, and will admit to the Fire those who disbelieve in Him from them on the Day of Resurrection. So what is the status of the angels?
A1: Allah the Exalted has informed us about the angels that they are

honored servants. ⁽²⁷⁾ They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.

عِبَادٌ مُكْرَمُونَ (26) لاَ يَسْبِقُونَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ وَهُمْ بِأَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ

[Al-Anbya 21:26-27]

Among them are those in charge of the people of Paradise, among them are those in charge of the people of the Fire, among them are the bearers of the Throne, and among them are those who surround the Throne, and Allah knows best the details of the deeds of the rest of them. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
