Q4: Is the current Christian religion correct, or has it been distorted? What is the evidence from the Book and the Sunnah regarding this?
A4: The Christians distorted the Christian religion from what it was in the time of their Prophet, Isa (peace be upon him), as evidenced by the fact that they said: "The Messiah is the son of Allah,"
and they said: "Allah is the third of three." Allah refuted that and declared them disbelievers for it. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Ma'idah 5:116-117] the verse, among other texts. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. (117) I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.
وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنْتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِنْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلامُ الْغُيُوبِ (116) مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلا مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ
