Q2: Are the brothers of our master Yusuf (peace be upon him) who threw him into the well among the tribes mentioned in the Qur'an who are prophets and messengers, and if so, is it permissible for them to do this to the messengers and prophets, or did they do it before prophethood and messengership came to them?
A2: Yusuf (peace be upon him) and his brothers are the sons of Ya'qub (peace be upon him)
