The seventh question of Fatwa No. ( 8973 ):
Q7: What is the position of youth regarding Islam? And what do you advise youth during the critical period of their lives?
A: It is obligatory for the Muslim to hold fast to the rope of Allah, to adhere to His Book and the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and to call to the path of Allah. He should not be biased toward what he has seen if the truth is found elsewhere, but rather he should follow the truth wherever it may be, for the truth is more deserving of being followed. In summary, let him take the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) as a model in his actions, his good character, his demeanor, and his calling; for Allah the Exalted said:
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌAnd success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
