One Who Fasted During Her Menstruation While Ignorant of the Ruling

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: A woman says: When she first got her period in Ramadan, she was thirteen years old. She was praying and fasting, and she did not make up the days she was menstruating, knowing that she did not know that fasting during menstruation and making it up after Ramadan is forbidden. Many years have passed since then. Should she make them up now? Please advise us, may Allah reward you.

Answer: First: It is not permissible for a menstruating woman to fast during the period of menstruation, nor to pray. What the aforementioned woman did of fasting and praying during menstruation is considered an error. She must repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness. She is not excused by ignorance of the ruling in such a matter, because it is obligatory for her to ask.
Second: She must make up all the days on which her period came in Ramadan, whether that was in one Ramadan or several Ramadans. Fasting during menstruation does not suffice for her. She must feed one poor person for every day, in addition to making up the fast with half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of the staple food of the country.
