A man who has become famous for treating diseases and performing surgeries without incision, and who tells people what diseases they have, appears righteous, and is known for maintaining his prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A questioner says, O honorableThe Shaykh : A man has become famous for treating diseases and performing surgeries without incision. He tells people what diseases they have, appears righteous, and is known for maintaining his prayers. He does not ask people for money. But people have attached themselves to him. I know people from this area who want to travel to him, and he is located outside this country. What is the ruling on traveling to him? And what is your comment?

The Shaykh : They say: "Tell the intelligent person what he does not know". The completion of the sentence is up to you! - Complete it - "If he believes it, he has no intelligence". We have not heard of anyone whom Allah heals through his hands merely by touching with his hand, except whom? 'Isa (peace be upon him). So I do not believe in this at all. And if it happens that people are tempted by him and someone goes to him and he treats him without surgery, then there are devils working for him, because it is not reasonable. Allah is the Greatest! If someone told us: This sun is not a sun. It is bulbs that are composed and grouped together and illuminate the earth. Would we agree with this? We would not agree. Any person with the least bit of intelligence, the minimum threshold of intellect, cannot believe that a man from the children of Adam is brought patients who need surgery and he treats them without incision. Glory to Allah, what wonders! And this is what people are afflicted with today. They have come to rely on other than their Lord (Mighty and Majestic), attaching themselves to the created. So they believe in what is not reasonable. So I say to the brother who is packing his luggage to travel: Do not travel. Stay in your place. And ask your Lord (Mighty and Majestic). For Allah is Able to do all things. How many people have had their graves dug, water prepared for their washing, and shrouds brought to wrap them in, and they did not die! Because Allah is Able to do all things. The One who sent down the illness is Able to remove it, as long as the term has not arrived, otherwise there is no benefit. What did Zakariyya say when Allah gave him the glad tidings of a child? And what did Allah say to him?
He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?" قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلامٌ وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِراً وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنْ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيّاً
[Maryam 19:8]
. Allah said to him:
[An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' " كَذَلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئاً
[Maryam 19:9]
. Who created you? Allah (Mighty and Majestic). He is Able to create a child for you. Who made you ill? I say to the sick person: Who made you ill? Answer, everyone. Allah. The One who made you ill is Able to remove the illness from you. But Allah the Exalted says:
And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ
[At-Talaq 65:3]
. And His command must reach its place:
Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْراً
[At-Talaq 65:3]
. It may be that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has decreed that this illness is the final illness. And the supplication at that time will be for the raising of degrees. And it may be that Allah has decreed that this illness will not be removed except by the supplication of so-and-so or so-and-so, so he supplicates to Allah and is cured. Yes.
