The Shaykh’s advice to those afflicted with shaving their beards.

The Shaykh : Therefore, we seize this opportunity to remind those afflicted to try to escape this calamity, for it is a calamity of the age. In reality, one does not perceive its ugliness except those whom Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has spared from what He has afflicted others with. The most dangerous thing to fear regarding the masses of those afflicted with this sin is that they no longer retain even the lowest rank of the ranks of forbidding evil, because their sense has died regarding the fact that this is a sin. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, as you all know: Sahih Muslim 49a If the heart dies and no longer senses that this is a sin, then there is not a particle of faith beyond that, as came in another hadith.
Therefore, I hope that the afflicted will hasten to obey Allah and the Messenger and to escape from this destructive sin.
He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue, and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart, and that is the least of faith.
من رأى منكم منكراً فليغيره بيده فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذلك أضعف الإيمانTherefore, I hope that the afflicted will hasten to obey Allah and the Messenger and to escape from this destructive sin.
