Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: O honorable Shaykh! The menstrual period came and has continued with me until now. Twelve days have passed since it started up to this day, and this woman's usual period is only seven days. She did not pray during the first seven days. Then she took a ritual bath and prayed based on her usual custom. Is what she did valid? Does she fast or not? Is she permissible for her husband during the remaining days? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you, and may Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : Her action is valid if the blood exceeds fifteen days. As for before fifteen days, it is possible that her custom has increased. Women's periods sometimes increase and sometimes decrease. So we say to this woman: Wait until you complete fifteen days. When you have completed fifteen days, take a ritual bath and pray. In the second month, sit only for your usual period, because it is not accepted that a woman is a woman with irregular bleeding until she exceeds, meaning until she exceeds half the duration, which is fifteen days. When she exceeds half the duration, most of her time is blood. At that point, she returns to her previous custom before this illness came. She is not permissible for her husband until she completes fifteen days, then takes a ritual bath, and then she becomes permissible. When the second month comes, she sits only for her usual period, then takes a ritual bath, prays, and becomes permissible for her husband. Yes.
