Continuation of the explanation of the hadith: (A man from those before you was reckoned...)

The Shaykh : After this, I say: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 1561.
This hadith indicates that the reckoning on the Day of Reckoning means questioning a person about the good or evil he has done, and presenting this tally and result to him so that he sees whether he is among the people of Paradise or among the people of the Fire. After this man was reckoned, it was found that there was not much in his record except faith, as we mentioned, and that he was a man who mixed with people. What does it mean that he mixed with people? It means he did not isolate himself from them; rather, as they say today, he was a "social person." He was neither isolated nor withdrawn from people; rather, he dealt with them and mixed with them.Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 388. The believer who mixes with people and is patient with their harm is better than the one who does not mix with them , considering them to be in the desert or in a corner, even if in the mosque, not mixing with people and not being patient with their harm. This is undoubtedly, because of his faith, good, but that one who mixes with people and is patient with their harm is better than this believer who does not mix with people and is not patient with their harm. So this man who was before the Muhammadan community was reckoned, and nothing of good was found in his record except faith. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said in this hadith: He had one trait, which was that he mixed with people and dealt with them. And because of this dealing, he had acquired wealth until he became a wealthy man and had servants and workers. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Riyad as-Salihin 1371. This man, because of this mixing and dealing with people, and taking and giving, and trade and profit, became one of the great wealthy men and became a merchant who had either hired servants or slave boys. The freeing of slaves was an old custom, even in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and this is a prescribed matter, but it has its known conditions in the books of hadith and the books of the Sunnah. I am not now in the position of explaining any of these conditions, at least. The important thing is that this man became, because of the mixing, a wealthy, rich man, and he had slave servants who reckoned with people. So he would order his servants that when they reckoned with one of his customers, they should not be harsh with them and not be severe in demanding from them, but rather he would order them to overlook and forgive: "You have paid off what is due to you from the debt, so it is fine. What is due to you, Allah forgives you. I do not want anything from you." So Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), who is the most generous of the generous and the most merciful of the merciful, dealt with this human being in the same manner that he himself dealt with the children of Adam. He was overlooking and forgiving and pardoning the one who was unable to fulfill what was due to him of debt or obligation, so this wealthy, rich man would overlook and pardon him. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said to His angels on the day He reckoned him (Mighty and Majestic), and He did not find in his record any good, as we mentioned, except this overlooking of his customers and those who owed him. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said to His angels: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1307Sahih (Darussalam). If he overlooks My servants, and he is a servant among My servants, then I am more worthy of overlooking him. Overlook him. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) forgave this wealthy man and overlooked all his evil deeds. Why? Because he overlooked his companions and his customers who were not able to clear their obligations before him. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) reciprocated with this human being according to the type of his work, even though the overlooking and forgiveness of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) has no parallel, because this human being who overlooks is only adopting a very small, very small part. It is not possible to compare this attribute with the attribute of the Lord of the Worlds in forgiveness. So he is adopting from the morals of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), which is overlooking the one who falls short, overlooking the one who makes a mistake. So when Allah (Mighty and Majestic) knew from this human being about the people who were falling short with him, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) overlooked his falling short with Him. And this is as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said in the Noble Qur'an: [Ar-Rahman 55:60]. Yes, the Lord of the Worlds overlooks with good beyond what the human being deserves, because as He said: [Al-Baqarah 2:105].
A person from people who lived before you was called to account (by Allah at the Day of Judgment) and no good was found in his account
حُوسِبَ رجلٌ ممَن كان قبلكم ، فلم يوجد له من الخير شيءThis hadith indicates that the reckoning on the Day of Reckoning means questioning a person about the good or evil he has done, and presenting this tally and result to him so that he sees whether he is among the people of Paradise or among the people of the Fire. After this man was reckoned, it was found that there was not much in his record except faith, as we mentioned, and that he was a man who mixed with people. The believer who mixes with people and endures their injury is better than the person who does not mix with people nor endure their injury.
