The Shaykh: And now he is narrating to us a new hadith with its authentic chain: from Abu Sa'id - who is al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) - from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 486 . This is a great hadith in which it explains one of the stations of the Day of Resurrection, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Sahih al-Bukhari 2440 : Sahih al-Bukhari 2440 : It can be interpreted in one of two ways; because being saved from the Fire is either for the righteous who do not deserve the punishment of the Fire, in which case they pass through the Fire without its punishment touching them. Or it is for those who entered the Fire with a reckoning upon them or punishment for matters and sins they committed in this world. The hadith can be interpreted in one of these two ways in its first sentence: Sahih al-Bukhari 2440 . But the correct interpretation is: that this salvation is only for those who were not pardoned for some of the injustices they committed in this world, and rights of people remained upon them. These people will have a special station established for them between Paradise and the Fire, or more precisely, between the Fire from which they were saved and the Paradise to which they are heading. I say: that entering the Fire is a general matter for all Muslims, the wicked among them and the righteous; the entry, meaning: the mere entry. Then this entry is either accompanied by punishment in the Fire or not accompanied by any punishment. This is taken from the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic): [Maryam 19:71-72] : This verse is an explicit text containing the restriction meaning: no one among you will not enter the Fire.
When the believers are saved from the Fire, they will be stopped on a bridge between the Garden and the Fire. They were be interrogated concerning the injustices which occurred between them in this world. When they have been cleansed and they have been disciplined, then they will be given permission to enter the Garden. By the One who holds the soul of Muhammad in His hand, one of them is better guided in his position than he was in this world.
When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise
إذا خلص المؤمنون من النار حُبِسُوا بقنطرة بين الجنة والنارWhen the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell
إذا خلص المؤمنون من النارWhen the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell
إذا خلص المؤمنون من النار(71) And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. (72) Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.
