What is the correct interpretation of al-hada' that was known among the Arabs in ancient times?

The questioner : What is the interpretation of al-hada'? They say this is from al-hada'.

The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner : They say this is from the al-hada' that was practiced in the past.

The Shaykh : That is what they say.

The questioner : So how do we interpret al-hada'?

The Shaykh : Al-hada': you are Arabs, you know al-hada' for camels, so did al-hada' become for humans?!

The questioner :"Our path is the path of the fathers, strangers, strangers, our path is the path of the fathers, strangers, strangers, strangers, we will not care about the shackles".

The Shaykh : Is this Islamic?

The questioner : He says that while he is reciting, he inserts the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Another questioner : Well, the clear speech, O Shaykh, the concise speech in this matter?

The Shaykh : We spoke about this just now, my brother. If a poem is in the Arabic language, containing admonition, containing encouragement to seek knowledge, containing encouragement to patience and courage and steadfastness when facing disbelievers and enemies, and so on, and it is in the pure Arabic dialect, not influenced by non-Arab tastes and musical laws, then there is no harm in it.
But the present age rejects this old style; it wants to mean, it wants to bring the forbidden near by the name of the desired. And the desired now is musical scales. Even the reciters today, those who recite the Qur'an, many of them adhere to musical laws. So you meet one of them, and he brings out the verse and lowers it and descends, considering not the situation that his resonance with the verses suggests of awe and desire, but rather the musical scales. So if they have brought the words of Allah down to these laws, how would they not do the same or more in poetry?!
So I ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to have mercy on us. Why do I always hum the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf? Because the one who does not know the Salaf cannot know the evil in which the Khalaf falls.
