The Response to Those Who Say That Allah Is in Every Place

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And among the places are the sewers, the dirty drains, the shelters, and the like. These are places in which they have brought their true object of worship. Some of these places they do not enter at all, and some they enter only under compulsion. Is it permissible to speak of the Lord of the worlds in this manner?
What is your position, O enthusiastic young man, when they ignore this difference in today's reality? With which group are you now, whether you are with these or with those? You can combine two opposites and say that the one who says that Allah is in the sky, as the maidservant said in response to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he asked her
Where is Allah أين الله
, is correct, and that those who say that Allah is in every place, including the filthy places we mentioned, are also correct. If you say that all of them are correct, you have contradicted the clear text of the Qur'an, namely the statement of the Blessed and Exalted:
And what can be beyond truth except error? فماذا بعد الحق إلا الضلال
[Yunus 10:32]
If the statement of the first group is true—and it is, for it is the statement of the Lord of the worlds, as you have heard—then the contrary statement is false. And if you say the opposite, that the statement of the second group is correct, it follows that the statement of the first group is false. How can you combine two contradictory and conflicting statements in your mind, and then expect all these scholars—and you are certainly not one of them—to accept this? Islam has not read this verse, and even if it had read it, it did not understand it:
And what can be beyond truth except error? فماذا بعد الحق إلا الضلال
[Yunus 10:32]
And there is the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him):
When a judge gives a decision having tried his best to decide correctly and is right, he will have a double reward; and when he gives a decision having tried his best to decide correctly and is wrong, he will have a single reward. إذا حكم الحاكم فاجتهد فأصاب فله أجران وإن أخطأ فله أجر واحد
Mishkat al-Masabih 3732
Therefore, if there are two conflicting statements in the matter, there is no doubt that one is correct and the other is wrong.
I wonder how these Muslim young people, the enthusiastic ones, live. Why for something called Islam? But if you ask him what Islam is,
