Explaining the error in the statement "Allah is present in every place"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The evidence is: "Allah is in every place". Place is a matter of existence; it was non-existent and then came into being by the command of the Exalted, "Be," and so it was. Place is a condition for the created, so how can it be made a condition for the Creator? He is the One who is free from need of all creation.
And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
[Ali 'Imran 3:97]
How did Muslims reach this level of ignorance and heedlessness regarding the Islamic creed that is explicitly stated in the Book and the Sunnah and upon which the scholars of the Muslims have reached consensus? This is due to their distance, over these long centuries, from studying the Book of Allah and the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which are the source of safety, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
I have left for you two things by which you will not go astray as long as you hold on to them: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah. They will not separate until they return to me at the Pond.
Today, unfortunately, and without blame, take the greatest scholar you trust in his knowledge and ask him to pray as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray; he does not know how.
Ask him to perform Hajj to the Sacred House of Allah as he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed it, and he does not know how, and so on. And what can we say about others? "Allah is present in every place". The silkworm, the local silk, has a place, and it is called the cocoon, which it closes upon itself. So Allah was, and there was no place and no time, then He created place and time, and He is now as He was, as He was before, free in His essence, Blessed and Exalted is He, from all creation. How did Muslims make Him like the silkworm? They confined Him to every place, knowing that in these places, none of us would enter them unless forced, yet they placed their Lord in them by their own choice. That is far deviation. The cause is ignorance of their religion. We know that Muslims still hold on to some of the religious laws, but their holding on to them is formal, without awareness and understanding. Many, for example, of the shaykhs, the followers of the shaykhs, and the young people raised in obedience to Allah, but without knowledge, do not sleep until they have recited Surat al-Buruj, which is a recommended practice and is a salvation from the punishment of the grave, and it has virtues. In this surah, the reciter among us reads:
(16) Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? (17) Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.
[Al-Mulk 67:16-17]
Who is the One in the sky? Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, is the One in the sky.
(16) Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? (17) Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones?
[Al-Mulk 67:16-17]
So our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, first of all, is not in every place, but rather He is in the sky and not on the earth. And among the wonders of heedlessness regarding the legal texts, including this verse, there is a Prophetic hadith circulated on the tongues of people, even the common folk:
The merciful are shown mercy by Ar-Rahman. Be merciful on the earth, and you will be shown mercy from Who is above the heavens.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1924Hasan (Darussalam)
You see, we do not find a Muslim who is ignorant of this hadith, yet he says it with his tongue, but it has not entered his heart.
