The Shaykh : The hadith mentioned just before this contains the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan Abi Dawud 3462Sahih (Al-Albani)
Do you know what the 'inah is? It is what many Muslims today, the large merchants in some Islamic countries, engage in.
The 'inah is derived from the 'ayn (essence) of a thing, meaning its very self. The intended meaning is: "selling a need in one session at two different prices", the first price being high and the second price being low; the first price is greater and the other is smaller. Why? To make riba permissible. This is because a man comes to the merchant not wanting to buy the need, but wanting money, wanting a good loan. However, since the Muslims, as is their reality today, are scattered and are not as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) intended for them when He struck for them the wonderful example:, they are not like that.
Therefore, if a needy person needs a good loan, he rarely finds someone to lend him a good loan. So what does he do? He resorts to a scheme, and he is the needy one, and he cooperates with the wealthy, rich man, who also resorts to a scheme to eat haram. For example, he comes to a car merchant and says, "How much is this car on installments?" He says, for example, "Fifty thousand or sixty thousand." He pretends to buy it, but he agrees with him, or soon agrees with him, that he will return and sell it to him. The merchant, the seller, becomes the buyer, and the poor buyer becomes the seller. Why? Because he bought the car for fifty thousand, then he returns and sells it to the same merchant for forty thousand or thirty-five thousand, whatever they agree upon. He takes the forty thousand, and fifty thousand is recorded against him. This is part of the schemes to consume people's wealth unjustly, which Allah (Mighty and Majestic) forbade in the Noble Qur'an. Thus, the Muslims have fallen into what some of the nations before them, such as the Jews, fell into, whom Allah (Mighty and Majestic) mentioned in His Book and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned in his Sunnah, that they resorted to the lowest schemes to commit what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has forbidden.
When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.
