What is the ruling on the secret habit?

The questioner : The questioner asks, saying: What is the ruling on the habit of masturbation... the secret habit?
The Shaykh : We have no doubt about the prohibition of this habit of masturbation, which they call the secret habit to cover up its evil and sin, and that is for two reasons:
First of all: His saying, the Exalted, in the clear text of the Qur'an, and in His description of the believers:[Al-Mu'minun 23:1-2] and those who [Al-Mu'minun 23:5-7]. Also, among the virtues of Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) is that he drew attention to using this verse as evidence for the prohibition of masturbation. This is because Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) described the true believers with attributes, among which is His saying: [Al-Mu'minun 23:5-6]. Thus, He established two paths for the true believers to satisfy their desire: either marrying free women, or enjoying concubines and maids. Naturally, this was in the early period when there was jihad in the path of Allah, and there was a share from the disbelievers, and there was an organization for distributing these captives among the spoils-takers. So at that time, a man would enjoy the maid given to him by the Commander of the Faithful just as he would enjoy his free wife. Then He, the Exalted, said: meaning: the transgressors, the wrongdoers. So whoever seeks a path to quench his desire other than the path of marriage or concubinage, those are the transgressors, the wrongdoers. This is the first reason for the impermissibility of masturbation.
The second reason is that it has been medically established that the consequence of those who engage in this secret habit is severe harm to their health, especially those who are addicted to it morning and evening, and repeat it to the point that the outcome for these people is that instead of releasing white semen, they release red blood. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the comprehensive, decisive hadith:Sunan Ibn Majah 2340Da'if (Darussalam). So it is not permissible for a Muslim to engage in anything that harms himself or harms another. Therefore, the one who engages in this vile habit harms himself physically. Thus, it is not permissible for him to engage in this secret habit.
And there is a third thing that is necessary... that these people who engage in this bad habit, the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) applies to them:[Al-Baqarah 2:61]. What is the good for these young men? It was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) his saying: . The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) provided the medicine for young men like these in advance, because by his wisdom, even if he did not know by revelation, that it is not possible for all people to have marriage facilitated for them in their youth and in the strength of their vigor and desire. And so he (may Allah's prayers and blessings be upon him) said: Mishkat al-Masabih 3080. If these young men had resorted to this Prophetic medicine which he prescribed for them, which is to fast, and the best of fasting, as you know, is the fast of Dawud (peace be upon him), who would fast one day and break the fast the next day; they would have been content with this lawful means and would not have fallen into that vile means which contradicts the Qur'an and health, as we mentioned earlier.
Yes.

(5) And they who guard their private parts (6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - (7) But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -
(5) And they who guard their private parts (6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess

It was narrated from 'Ubadah bin Samit that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ruled: “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.”
And there is a third thing that is necessary... that these people who engage in this bad habit, the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) applies to them:
Would you exchange what is better for what is less?
I have not left anything that brings you closer to Allah except that I have commanded you with it, and I have not left anything that distances you from Allah and brings you closer to the Fire except that I have forbidden it to you
Young man, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserves you from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.
