The ruling on the secret habit during the day in Ramadan for one who was unaware of its ruling

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
There was a boy who used to engage in the secret habit. Ramadan came upon him, but he had not yet reached puberty, and he fasted that month. Then another year came upon him, and he reached puberty, yet he continued to engage in the secret habit during the day in Ramadan, while he did not know the ruling. He was in the sixth grade or the first year of middle school, and he knew nothing about this. What is the ruling? He does not know now the number of days on which he engaged in the secret habit. What is your response to that?

First: You mentioned that he used to engage in the secret habit but had not reached puberty, meaning that he did not ejaculate. However, the custom is that one who engages in the secret habit ejaculates, and by this he reaches puberty, even if he were only ten years old. That is one thing. But if he continued to engage in the secret habit while not knowing the ruling on this matter, and he thought that the secret habit did not break the fast, then he owes no make-up fasts;because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
[Surat al-Baqarah: 286] Allah said: You have done it.
