Is it permissible for a pregnant woman in the early months—if she fears miscarriage—to pray while sitting?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner:The questioner : He says: Is it permissible for a pregnant woman in the early months—if she fears miscarriage—to pray while sitting?

The Shaykh : If it is known that a fatwa is based on the text of the question, then I say: it is permissible. However, I am not confident that a woman who prays standing fears for herself that she will miscarry. But as He—Exalted is He—said:
Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness, بل الإنسان على نفسه بصيرة
[Al-Qiyamah 75:14]
, if this woman is not one who has obsessive doubts, or is not one who has obsessive doubts—both forms are linguistically permissible—and it is her strong conviction—in reality—that she will miscarry, then it is permissible for her to pray while sitting.
I know that doctors advise pregnant women to move and walk, and we know from early Islamic history that a woman would give birth while on her camel. Nevertheless, I know that modern life, and the blessings with which Allah—Mighty and Majestic—has surrounded people today, which the earlier generations did not know, has made them unable to bear hardships, difficulties, and struggles, especially what is called the gentle sex. So I do not rule out that a woman of this sex today might fear that she will miscarry her child from her womb if she stands to pray to her Lord.
