When a woman combs her hair, some hair remains in the comb after combing. Is it permissible for her to burn this hair, or what should she do with it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : When a woman combs her hair, some hair remains in the comb after combing. Is it permissible for her to burn this hair? Or what should she do with it?

The Shaykh : Hair that falls from the head, or from a man’s beard, or from plucking the armpits, or from shaving the pubic area: all of this, if thrown in the trash or in any place, is permissible, because once it is separated from the person, it no longer has sanctity. However, some of the Salaf held that a person should bury it, meaning bury the hair or nails that fall from him. If a person does so, there is no harm; and if he leaves it in the trash or in any place, there is no harm. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
