The questioner : He saysThe questioner : Have you looked into the narration of Ibn Ishaq regarding the reconciliation between the supplication in the first tashahhud and the supplication in the second tashahhud, which is in "Al-Musnad"?

The Shaykh : Yes, I have looked into it, and I am speaking about it, not saying it is in it, but rather against it. In "The Description of the Prophet's Prayer," which is the printed book... Muhammad ibn Ishaq deviated from Muhammad ibn 'Ujlan... when he added this addition with the moving of the hand. Our companion here added this addition which does not include the sending of blessings upon the Messenger in the first tashahhud. So he is unique in this, unlike everyone who narrated the hadith of the tashahhud and unlike everyone who narrated the hadith of sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)... it is anomalous or denounced.
