The Supplication of the Tashahhud
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 20619 )
Q 5: What is the ruling on a tashahhud supplication that differs from the prescribed one, in which they say “In the name of Allah, by Allah, and praise be to Allah,” and the beautiful names, all of which belong to Allah, and so on until they finish what they say?
A 5: The tashahhud supplication is established in the hadiths, such as the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud and Ibn Abbas . It is obligatory to act in accordance with it and restrict oneself to it, so no other tashahhud can replace it
because it is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught his Companions, just as he taught them a surah from the Qur'an. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
