Does the Salafi creed have an effect on the person, or is it merely philosophical answers?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Does this creed, meaning the Salafi creed, have an impact on the person? Or are they just, meaning, philosophical answers only? I mean, what does a person benefit from when he knows that Allah is in the sky?

The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar! This is the answer, just as we began our discussion:
Who believe in the unseen الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:3]
When our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) tasked His servants to believe in anything that does not fall within the scope of legal rulings, what did He intend by that? He intended, without a doubt, that they worship Him, and that each of them submit to the rule of Allah and believe in Him. What is philosophical and what is not? All the verses and hadiths that relate to belief in the signs of the Hour, for example, and to Paradise and the Fire, what is the result that the Muslim obtains if he believes in these unseen matters? There is no doubt that the result is that the believer increases in faith, and if he does not increase in faith, this faith drives him to proceed to act according to what came in the Book and the Sunnah. But if he does not have belief in the unseen, his faith is like the faith of the materialists who do not proceed to act on anything unless they are convinced within the limits of their materialism. So belief in the unseen is not a philosophical issue, and whoever says it is a philosophical issue means that he denies the Qur'an, denying many of the verses that explicitly mention the unseen and describe Allah (Mighty and Majestic) as being alone, also, in the attribute of the unseen.
