The Trustee is a Guardian, and He Is Responsible, and the Intended Meaning of This Passage Specifically Is His Saying

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh:
The trustee is a guardian, and he is responsible الأمين راعٍ ، وهو مسؤول
The intended meaning of this passage specifically is his saying:
The trustworthy one is a shepherd والأمين راعٍ
As for the servant entrusted with the master's wealth, he is responsible for this wealth because he is trusted with it. Or, other than the servant, such as one entrusted by the owner of the wealth, like a son, for example, whom his father relies on and trusts with his wealth. This son is responsible for this wealth. This entails that he must preserve it, increase it for him, and choose for his father from trade what he believes to be most likely to grow and multiply this wealth. If he falls short in any of that, he has fallen short in an obligatory duty for which he is responsible to attend to. This is the intended meaning of this phrase, namely his saying—peace and blessings be upon him—:
The amir of a people is a shepherd and he is responsible for his flock. فالأمير راعٍ ، وهو مسؤولٌ عن رعيته
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 206
The hadith will be repeated after one or more hadiths, and in it is the explicit statement of his saying:
Ibn 'Umar reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, "All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock. A woman is the shepherd of the house of her husband and she is responsible as is the servant in regard to his master's property." والرجل في مال أبيه
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 214
meaning a guardian. So by "the man" here, he means either the boy, i.e., the slave, or the man's son. Whether this is the intended or meant meaning, the important point is that whoever is trusted with a man's wealth is responsible for this wealth and for preserving it, as we mentioned.
