Is it from the Sunnah to leave water on the body after ghusl or wudu', and is that better than drying it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I heard that leaving water on the body after ghusl or wudu' is better than drying it with a towel or cloth; is this correct?

The Shaykh : No, there is no such preference; the matter is ordinary. So whoever likes to dry off, he dries off, and whoever likes to leave it, he leaves it. The matter is as circumstances require... it differs from one town to another, and even from one person to another. It is not natural for a person to leave water on his body in cold countries and not dry it off, because of the harm or damage it may cause him. And the opposite is true in hot countries; it may be pleasant for the one who has performed ghusl to leave the water on his body for moisture. And so on. The details of this are innate and self-evident; it has no connection to acts of worship.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
