Discussion regarding the son's wealth belonging to his father.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It is obligatory for him to be dutiful to his father. The father has taken possession of this wealth; it has exited the ownership of whom? The son. It is like a mosque that a person builds; he has no authority over it... its value is the value of any worshipper in this mosque. And among the great misguidance is that it is common for many people to say: "This is our mosque, we built this, and this is such and such." This is due to their foolishness and ignorance. He has no right in this mosque except the right of any other Muslim who did not put a single coin into it. So, this wealth that exited the son and entered the father's ownership, the son has absolutely no right in it. His reward is sufficient, being what has been written for him. Accordingly, if this father wishes to honor all his children, suppose the one who gave was given one hundred dinars and he has ten children; he gives the one who gave the one hundred dinars ten dinars, and he gives the rest likewise ten dinars, being just among them; because he has no right in this wealth that he gave to his father.
