The Shaykh : It is as if, without offense, you have been influenced by the environment in which you live, because the children there have festivals and parties. It should not have been expressed this way. Moreover, in Islam, there is no celebration of the 'Aqiqah or of the child for whom the 'Aqiqah is slaughtered, because such celebrations fall under what is called seasons and festivals. Islam has no seasons or festivals; rather, the Shari'ah has explicitly stated this, and the practice of the righteous Salaf followed it. I simply happened to come across this title and wanted to draw attention to it.
