Is there any report regarding women calling the adhan and iqamah for prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is there any report regarding a woman calling the adhan and iqamah for prayer if she is among a group of women and no man hears them?

The Shaykh : There is no specific text regarding this issue, except for the general statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Woman are counterpart of men. إنما النساء شقائق الرجال
Sunan Abi Dawud 236
. It is established in the authentic Sunnah that if a man prays, even if he is alone, he calls the adhan and iqamah. It is known among the scholars of Islam that any ruling established for a man applies to a woman in the same way, except where a specific text excludes her from being equated with the man in that ruling.
