Two verses of poetry on the six types of permissible backbiting.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The scholars used this type of verse to qualify the general principle regarding forbidden backbiting. They said: "Two verses of poetry," and this is, of course, not from the verses of poets, but rather from the poetry of jurists. They said:
“Censure is not backbiting in six cases: *** the complainant, the identifier, and the one who warns,
"And one who openly commits open sinfulness, and one who seeks a ruling, and he who *** seeks assistance in removing a wrong."
One of the scholars compiled these six types in these two verses so that they may be preserved, and each of these types has its evidence from the authentic Sunnah.
