Reciting Surat al-Ikhlas three times in the night

Question: Does the one who recites Surat al-Ikhlas three times every night count as having completed the recitation of the Noble Qur'an in its entirety? Please inform us of this, may Allah reward you with good?

Answer: Surat al-Ikhlas contains a great virtue,And it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
By Him in Whose Hand is my life, it is equivalent to a third of the Qur'an.
Sunan Abi Dawud 1461Sahih (Al-Albani)
, and this is because of what it contains of the description of the Lord, (Glorified and Exalted is He). So it has a great virtue, and there is a great virtue in its recitation. But the one who recites it and restricts himself to it and repeats it is not like the one who recites the entire Qur'an.
Rather, if he recites the whole of it, he obtains its reward and its recompense. And he is also a reciter of Surat al-Ikhlas, so he obtains the reward of this surah, and the reward of reciting the entire Qur'an,And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah's Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2910Hasan (Darussalam)
, so restricting oneself to Surat al-Ikhlas is not sufficient in place of reciting the Qur'an, but there is a reward for its recitation and reading, but it is not like the one who recites the entire Qur'an.

Question: What is the meaning of the saying of the Exalted:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
[al-Baqarah: 30] , and how did the angels know that the children of Adam would corrupt in the earth and shed blood, while there were no people before Adam?

Answer: This verse is among the blessings that Allah enumerated at the beginning of Surat al-Baqarah, and it is that He informed the angels that He would make in the earth a successor, and he is Adam (peace be upon him),Meaning: to make him a successor in it,And it was said: the meaning of successor is a successor for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in implementing His rulings and governing His creation in the earth with the Shari'ah governance,And it was said: the intended meaning of successor is that he succeeds a people who preceded him, and that there were inhabitants in the earth before Adam who corrupted in it, so Allah removed them from it and made Adam and his descendants successors in it,And it was said: the meaning of successor is that the children of Adam succeed one another, generation after generation. And in any case, the apparent meaning of succession includes all these meanings. Then the angels (peace be upon them) asked their Lord a question of clarification, not a question of objection
Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood
[Al-Baqarah 2:30]
as if they knew this from a preceding generation, as the exegetes mentioned that there were a people of the jinn in the earth who had corrupted in it, then Allah removed them from it. So the angels had known from this generation that it was corrupting, so they assumed that Adam and his descendants would act as they acted. But Allah knows of the state of Adam and his descendants what the angels do not know, and that there will be among them the righteous
of the prophets, the righteous, and the believers who will populate the earth with the obedience of Allah, and reform in it,He said:
Indeed, I know that which you do not know."إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:30]
, So Allah answered them that He knows (Glorified and Exalted is He) of Adam and his descendants and their righteousness and their reform in this earth what the angels do not know when they found it difficult and said:
Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood
[Al-Baqarah 2:30]
, and Allah knows best.
