The Choice Among the Three Forms of Hajj and the Superiority of Tamattu'

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One who enters the state of Ihram for Hajj as Ifrad and is told: If he breaks his Hajj and turns it into 'Umrah, but does not break it, is he considered a sinner?

The correct view is that the three forms of Hajj are: Tamattu', Ifrad, and Qiran are all permissible, and a person has the choice among them. However, the best is Tamattu', unless he has brought sacrificial animals, in which case he should perform Qiran because it is difficult for him to exit the state of Ihram;By the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (If I have sacrificial animals with me, I will not exit the state of Ihram until I slaughter them) If this man performing Ifrad is told: Break your intention of Ifrad and turn it into Tamattu',Meaning: make your Hajj an 'Umrah, exit the state of Ihram, then enter the state of Ihram for Hajj on the eighth day of Dhul-Hijjah, but he refuses and insists on remaining in his state of Ihram, there is no harm and he is not considered a sinner.
