Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And the day when it becomes clear)

Allah the Exalted said:
And [by] the day when it appearsوَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى
[Al-Layl:2] Meaning: when it appears and becomes distinct, and that is with the rising of the dawn, which is the light that is the precursor to the rising of the sun, and the sun is the sign of the day just as the moon is the sign of the night.
