The Ruling on Seeking the Assistance of the Righteous Jinn

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Some of them seek the assistance of the jinn and say: This is a righteous man in my mosque who recites the Qur'an well (100%),We said: Rely on Allah, he said: No.
The jinn likewise seek the assistance of the righteous jinn. How do we know that these are righteous? Or not?

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Helping a man mount his mount and carrying him onto it, or lifting his luggage onto it, is charity). Seeking the assistance of a created being in what it is capable of is permissible, and there is no blame in it. As for the matter of their lying or telling the truth, that is to be examined. In any case, they are unknown, and their claim that they are righteous is to be examined: does he command his companion to do good or evil? I have been informed that some people in whom there are jinn, when one comes to him at the end of the night, wakes him up to perform the night prayer and helps him. If he delays from the congregational prayer, he alerts him. If this is his state, it is evidence of his righteousness.

The questioner: Some of those who recite say: One of the jinn is a follower (Tabi'i). So does he know one of the Companions from the jinn? The Shaykh: Allah knows best. In any case, their lifespans are long. The historians mentioned that a jinn met the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) on one of the mountains of Makkah,And he asked him, and he said: I was a young man when Qabil killed Habil.
So Allah knows best. This hadith was mentioned by the historians, and I do not know anything about its authenticity.
