Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And from the evil of an envier when he envies)
Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Falaq: 5] The envier is the one who hates the blessing of Allah upon you. You find him distressed when Allah bestows upon this person wealth, status, knowledge, or anything else, so he envies him.But envy is of two types: There is a type who envies and hates in his heart the blessing of Allah upon others, but he does not subject the envied person to anything. You find him worried and depressed by the blessings of Allah upon others, but he does not transgress against his owner. The harm and affliction are only from the envier when he envies. And therefore he said: , and the one who envies is the evil eye that strikes the one looked at. This man—may Allah grant us well-being—has in him a hatred for the blessings of Allah upon others. So when he feels that Allah has bestowed a blessing upon so-and-so, a meaning emerges from his evil self that we cannot describe, because it is unknown. It strikes the one it dominates with the evil eye. Sometimes it kills, sometimes it causes illness, and sometimes it causes madness. Even the envier dominates iron and stops its operation. It may strike a car with the evil eye, causing it to break or malfunction, or it may strike the raising of water or the plowing of the land. The important thing is that the evil eye is a reality that strikes by the permission of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
Allah the Exalted mentioned: The darkening night when it covers, and the blowers on knots, and the envier when he envies; because all the affliction in these three states is hidden. The night is a cover and a veil.Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Layl: 1] Evil lurks in it, and it is not known. The blowers on knots—likewise—so is sorcery, which is hidden and not known. The envier when he envies, the one who casts the evil eye—likewise—is hidden. The evil eye comes from a person you think is among the most beloved to you, and you are among the most beloved to him, and yet he strikes you with the evil eye.For this reason, Allah specified these three matters: The darkening night when it covers, and the blowers on knots, and the envier when he envies. And otherwise, they are included in His saying: [Al-Falaq 113:2] .
So if someone asks: What is the way to get rid of these three evils? We said: The way is for a person to attach his heart to his Lord, entrust his affairs to Him, and realize reliance upon Allah. He should use the prescribed supplications with which he fortifies and protects himself from the evil of these people. The reason the matter has increased among people in recent times regarding sorcerers, enviers, and the like is only because of their heedlessness of Allah, the weakness of their reliance upon Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and their little use of the prescribed supplications with which they fortify themselves. Otherwise, we know that the prescribed supplications are a fortress stronger than the barrier of Gog and Magog. But unfortunately, many people know nothing about these supplications. And whoever knows them may often be heedless. And whoever reads them, his heart is not present. All of this is a deficiency. If people had used the supplications as the Shari'ah brought them, they would have been safe from many evils.

وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَWhen he envies.
إِذَا حَسَدَAllah the Exalted mentioned: The darkening night when it covers, and the blowers on knots, and the envier when he envies; because all the affliction in these three states is hidden. The night is a cover and a veil.Allah the Exalted said:
And [by] the night when it covers
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىFrom the evil of that which He created
