Ruling on the barber using soap containing some fragrance for the pilgrim performing Hajj or 'Umrah
Your Eminence! Some barbers, when the person performing 'Umrah or Hajj finishes his 'Umrah or Hajj, apply a type of soap that contains some fragrance. What is the ruling on that?
If he is ignorant, he owes nothing, whether the ignorant one is the barber or the one being shaved. However, if the one being shaved knows that it contains fragrance, he must prevent it; because it is not permissible except if he shaves or shortens his hair after exiting the state of ihram.
