Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, they were not expecting a Reckoning)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Indeed, they were not expecting a Reckoning)
Then he explained the aspect of correspondence,Meaning: the correspondence of this punishment to their deeds, saying:
(27) Indeed, they were not expecting an account (28) And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.
[An-Naba: 27-28], mentioning their deviation in belief and their deviation in speech,
Indeed, they were not expecting an account
[An-Naba 78:27]
meaning: they did not hope to be held accountable; rather, they denied the Reckoning and denied the Resurrection,They say:
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time."
[Al-Jathiyah: 24], so they did not expect a Reckoning by which they would be held accountable; because they denied that. This is the belief of their hearts.

As for their tongues, they lie and say: This is a lie, this is sorcery, this is madness, and the like of that, as you read in the Book of Allah what He describes these deniers of the messengers of Allah with,As Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."
[Adh-Dhariyat: 52], And Allah the Exalted said regarding the deniers of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):
And the disbelievers said: This is a lying sorcerer
[Sad: 4],And they said he is a poet:
Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?"
[At-Tur: 30] And they said:
(6) And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad. (7) Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"
[Al-Hijr: 6-7], and if Allah had not made the feet of the messengers firm and made them patient with their people, they would not have been patient with this matter. Then, their people who denied them did not stop at this, but they harmed them in action, just as they did to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) with great harm, indeed they harmed him by taking up arms against him. So whoever is in this state, his reward is Hell, a reward corresponding and matching his deed,As in this noble verse:
(26) An appropriate recompense. (27) Indeed, they were not expecting an account (28) And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.
[An-Naba: 26-28].
