Allah the Exalted said:

And when Hellfire is set ablaze

وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ

[Surat al-Takwir: 12] ,The Blazing Fire is: the Fire, and it was named so because of the depth of its bottom and the darkness of its appearance. We ask Allah to save us and you from it.

[Surat al-Tahrim: 6] Instead of being supplied with firewood and leaves, the fuel is the people -Meaning: the disbelievers -And the stones: stones of fire, immense in size, intense in burning and heat. This is the kindling of Hell.
