Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (You will surely see the Hellfire)]
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Takathur: 6-7] (You will surely see) This is an independent clause, not the answer to the conditional "if,"Therefore, the reciter must pause at his saying: [Al-Takathur: 5] We often hear many imams who possess knowledge reciting in a way that connects them, saying: [Al-Takathur: 5-6] This connection is either due to their negligence and forgetfulness, or because they did not reflect upon the verse with proper reflection; otherwise, if they had reflected upon it with proper reflection, they would have found that the connection corrupts the meaning;Because if he says: [Al-Takathur: 5-6] seeing the Hellfire becomes conditional upon their knowledge, and this is not correct. Therefore, one must be alert and point this out if you hear someone reciting: [Al-Takathur: 5-6] point it out to him,Say: O my brother, your connection here implies a corruption of the meaning,And you should pause first: because it is the beginning of a verse, and it is prescribed that a person should pause at the beginning of every verse.
And secondly: that the connection corrupts the meaning [Al-Takathur: 5-6] Thus [Al-Takathur: 6] is a resumed clause with no connection to what precedes it,It is an oath clause containing an implied oath, and the estimation is: By Allah, you will surely see the Hellfire.
Therefore, the grammarians say in its parsing: The letter "lam" is prepared for the oath, and the clause "you will see" is the answer to the oath, and the oath is omitted, and the implied meaning is: By Allah, you will surely see the Hellfire.
And the Hellfire is one of the names of the Fire.
Allah the Exalted said:
(6) You will surely see the Hellfire. (7) Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
(5) No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... (6) You will surely see the Hellfire.
(5) No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... (6) You will surely see the Hellfire.
(5) No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... (6) You will surely see the Hellfire.
And secondly: that the connection corrupts the meaning
(5) No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... (6) You will surely see the Hellfire.
You will surely see the Hellfire.
