Ruling on leaving Muzdalifah at night

The honorable Shaykh! A pilgrim left Muzdalifah after midnight with his family; however, he did not head to the jamarat to stone the Jamrah al-Aqabah, but instead went to the camp and did not stone the Jamrah al-Aqabah until after the morning. Is it obligatory for one who leaves Muzdalifah to head to the jamarat?
First: The Sunnah is to remain in Muzdalifah until one prays Fajr and the light of dawn becomes very clear, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did; but whoever fears the crowd of people in stoning the Aqabah, let him leave at the end of the night and stone the jamrah. And his leaving at the end of the night without stoning the jamrah is undoubtedly contrary to the Sunnah in two ways: The first way: his leaving before he prays Fajr.
The second aspect: He delayed the stoning until the sun had risen, and the person who moves forward for the sake of stoning is commanded to move forward in the stoning.
The questioner: Is he required to do anything for this? The Shaykh: He is not required to do anything.
