It is permissible to leave Muzdalifah in the latter half of the night

Question: When does the pilgrim leave Muzdalifah for Mina, at what time of the night? And do they stone the pillars on behalf of women who are capable of stoning, in order to avoid the crowd?
Answer: It is permissible for the pilgrim to leave Muzdalifah in the latter half of the night; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted a dispensation for women, the weak, and those in their care to do so. As for strong men who do not have families with them, it is better for them not to hasten, but rather to pray Fajr in Muzdalifah and remain there until the light of dawn appears, and to increase in the remembrance of Allah and supplication; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did that, and said:. And for those who hasten, it is permissible to stone the pillar before Fajr; because Umm Salimah (may Allah be pleased with her) stoned the pillar before Fajr, then she proceeded and poured out to Mina, and it is not established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disapproved of that from her. This indicates the permissibility, and that there is no blame in it, and because of the facilitation and ease it provides for the pilgrim, especially the weak among them.
