And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) only made it ambiguous for two great benefits: the first benefit is to distinguish the sincere in seeking it from the lazy one

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) only made it ambiguous for two great benefits: The first benefit is to distinguish the sincere in seeking it from the lazy one; because the sincere in seeking it does not mind tiring himself for ten nights in order to catch it,And the lazy one may be lazy and say: as long as he does not know which night it is, he is lazy to stand for ten nights for the sake of one night.

The second benefit: The abundance of the reward for the Muslims due to the abundance of deeds, because the more the deed, the more the reward.

On this occasion: I would like to point out a mistake made by many people nowadays, where they seek the twenty-seventh night to perform the 'Umrah. Indeed, on the twenty-seventh night, you will find the Sacred Mosque filled with people and they are numerous. Specifying the twenty-seventh night for 'Umrah is a religious innovation, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not specify it for 'Umrah in his action,And he did not specify it, meaning: nor did he specify the twenty-seventh night for 'Umrah in his speech. So, he did not perform 'Umrah on the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan, even though in the Year of the Conquest, on the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan, he was in Makkah and did not perform 'Umrah. And he did not say to the Ummah: [They] seek the twenty-seventh night for 'Umrah or by 'Umrah. Rather, we were commanded to seek the twenty-seventh night by standing in prayer in it, not by 'Umrah. And by this, the mistake of many people becomes clear.

And by this also: That people sometimes take their religion from father to son without a basis from the Shari'ah. So, beware of worshipping Allah except with knowledge, with evidence from the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) or the practice of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, whom we were commanded to follow their Sunnah.
And with this, the discussion of Surat al-Qadr is concluded. We ask Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, to let us and you reach it in this year and in the years to come in goodness and peace, and that He may accept from us and from you. Indeed, He is Capable of all things.
