The ruling on one who makes du'a' for himself during Hajj while intending it for another

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A person performed Hajj on behalf of someone else, but he continued to make du'a' for himself during the Hajj rather than for the other person?
There is no blame on him for this.Meaning: If a person performs Hajj on behalf of someone else, but at the miqat he says, "Labbaik for so-and-so," and intends that this act of worship is for so-and-so, and while he is performing tawaf, sa'y, and standing at 'Arafah, he makes du'a' for himself, his Hajj is valid; because making du'a' is not a condition for the validity of Hajj. But we see that the better course is: He should make du'a' for himself and for his brother; because his brother is the one who undertook the expense of the Hajj, so he should not be deprived of making du'a'. As for the act of worship, it was completed without du'a'.
