The Form of the Basmala When Eating

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Basmala when eating,Is it: (Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim) or (Bismillah)?

Allah is the Helper! If you say: (Bismillah) is sufficient,And if you say: (Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim) there is no harm;Because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (O boy! Say Bismillah) and he did not say: Do not say: al-Rahman al-Rahim,If you say: (Bismillah) is sufficient,And if you say: (al-Rahman al-Rahim) with it, there is no harm.

But some scholars said: Do not say: (al-Rahman al-Rahim) if you intend to slaughter the animal; because its slaughter contradicts mercy.

So we say: Yes, its slaughter contradicts mercy with respect to it, and it will die today or tomorrow; but with respect to us, it is mercy, and for this reason, we do not see that it is disliked to say when slaughtering: (Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim).

The important thing is if you say: (Bismillah) is sufficient;Because his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): (Say Bismillah) is correct, and if you add (al-Rahman al-Rahim), you are not forbidden from doing so; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not forbid it.
And you know that the Shari'ah has a type of breadth in this matter, for the people were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Farewell Pilgrimage, some of them were saying the talbiyah and some of them were saying takbir,And he did not say to the one saying takbir: Do not say takbir,Nor to the one saying the talbiyah: Do not say the talbiyah.
So the matter is broad in this regard.
And Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) - and he was among the most zealous of people in following the Sunnah - was he adding to the talbiyah? And he says: (Labbaik Allahumma labbaik, labbaik la sharika laka labbaik, innal hamda wan ni'mata laka wal mulk, la sharika lak, labbiak wa sa'dayk, wal khayru fi yadayk, war raghaba ilayka wal 'amal) and no one from the Companions forbade him, as far as we know.
So the matter in this is broad, except for one who mentions something that is not appropriate or mentions something forbidden, in which case he is forbidden from it.
