The Blessing of Food and Drink

As for the second blessing: It is a blessing that provides food, drink, clothing, housing, and transportation; things that may not be available in many Islamic and non-Islamic countries. How many people die of hunger or starve! How many nations find nothing to cover their private parts with, or to protect themselves from the cold, or to protect themselves from the heat! How many nations find no dwellings except nests or trees on which they place pieces of clothing to shade themselves! This is a matter known through mass-transmitted reports from trustworthy people who go to those countries, and from what we hear on the radio broadcasts.
